Reliability, scalability, and secure deployments are critical to our success. We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environment. This is a hands-on role where you will design deployment systems, manage AWS resources, and ensure the engineering team can ship quickly, safely, and reliably. Responsibilities CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. • Automate testing, building, and deployment for backend and frontend systems. • Ensure safe, repeatable, and efficient release processes. Infrastructure & Cloud Management • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. • Configure and maintain services such as IAM, S3, ECS/EC2, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Containerization & Environments • Own Docker-based containerization and deployment workflows. • Maintain consistent environments across development, staging, and production. • Support local development environments and onboarding. Data Infrastructure & Analytics • Manage AWS Athena query infrastructure, including workgroups and cost controls. • Administer Snowflake environments (roles, warehouses, access control). • Optimize performance and cost for large-scale analytical queries. Monitoring, Logging & Reliability • Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. • Proactively detect and resolve system issues. • Ensure system observability and operational transparency. Security & Compliance • Enforce best practices for cloud security and access control. • Manage secrets securely and implement rotation policies. • Apply least-privilege principles across all infrastructure components. Requirements Required • 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles. • Strong experience with AWS (IAM, S3, ECS/EC2, CloudWatch, VPC, Secrets Manager). • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred). • Experience with Docker (builds, multi-stage images, container deployment). • Experience managing AWS Athena and/or Snowflake environments. • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. • Experience managing production systems and deployments. Nice to Have • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CDK). • PostgreSQL administration (backups, monitoring, connection pooling). • Experience supporting Python (FastAPI) and Node.js applications. • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure. • Experience managing cloud costs and optimizing usage.
